Role / Production Manager
Do we eat better italian food prepared by italian Chefs at home or outside of the boot by italian Chefs touring the world ? That is the what Le Fooding tried to solve during Le Grand Fooding Milano 2011.
After New York in the summer, Le Grand Fooding made a stop in Milan in October to hold a summit meeting between the cream of Italian chefs and the best of the italophile diaspora. All gathered to celebrate “Il Trionfo dello Spaghetto Gigante”.
Each night, just after a pizza appetizer, 300 guests were served simultaneously in the dark! After dinner, the evening continued at the dancefloor, glasses filled with Havana Club cocktails.
The Italian team was composed of Andrea Berton (Trussardi alla Scala, Milan – Italy, Davide Oldani (D’O, Cornaredo – Italy), Massimo Bottura (Osteria Francescana, Modena – Italy), Moreno Cedroni (Madonnina del Pescatore, Senigallia – Italy), Cristiano Tomei (The Imbuto, Viareggio – Italy), Pino Cuttaia (La Madia, Licata. – Italy) The italophile team counted Mauro Colagreco (Mirazur, Menton – France), Federica and Fabrizio Mancioppi Ferrara (Caffè dei Cioppi, Paris – France), Giovanni Passerini (Bar Rino, Paris – France), Christian Puglisi (Relae, Copenhagen – Denmark), Mario Carbone (Torrisi Italian Specialties, New York – USA) and Pier Paolo Picchi (Trattoria Picchi, Sao Paulo – Brazil).
As Production Manager I was responsible for communications with brands, sponsors, partners, chefs, mixologists, talents, and suppliers. I also supervised the local production teams, graphically designed site plans and managed the operational organization as well as the on site run of show.
